Say hello to the world's first computer! The Abacus! Not exactly what you were expecting, I know. But technically, this is by definition, the world's first computer. The Ancient Japanese invented it to do math computations. It was basically a calculator.

The Z1 Computer
This is what most people consider the world's first computer. That's because it's programmable. Its primary use was calculating lengthy engineering problems and was created by Konrad Zuse in 1938.
The world's first mouse!
This is the world's first computer mouse, made by Doug Engelbart in 1963. It was made of wood. Weird, huh?
The first microchip ever invented!
This here is the world's first microchip. It was invented by Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce on March 24, 1959. It was about half the size of a paperclip, and it had only one transistor. Today, you could fit over 100 million transistors on a chip that size.
The first laptop ever created!
This is the world's first laptop. It was produced by Toshiba in 1985 and it was called the T1100. It had 256 KB of RAM and a 4.77 MHz Intel Processor. It had no hard drive and only supported floppy disks. To add to the pain, it weighed in at 4.1 kilograms and the pricing was set at $1899.
